At a club meeting the other night we got to talking about our website and others . So my question is does your club have a site, a message board or videos. is it worth the hassle? Does your club have a good site, how bout some links to check them out ? heres ours www.keystonegarageclub.com www.lebanoncountrycruisers.com
ours shall be up very soon! but theres alot of clubs on here with webpages! http://www.chromeczars.com/ http://www.vagabonds.cc/ http://www.suedescarclub.com/ http://www.traditionalsmn.org/tmn/phpBB2/ and lots lots more.... theres a buttload on myspace...ours is there for now...in my sig.....
Ours are in my sig. The actual website is under construction, we just put some BS up to keep the domain name and some sort of page. Now the MySpace site is what I really work on. Seems like every club under the earth has one on there.
Breeder, thanks , and that takes me to another question. How many clubs have myspace deals, and how many hambers have one? hell I only know car sites and porn, dont know if I could do my own site . myspace not porn site !!!
http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=58617&highlight=myspace just signup on oursVVVVV in my sig, and youll find alot of clubs and hambers! ohh, and the wheelbastards are freaks...stay away from them!
Here's our club website http://www.bchra.org Dedicated to Hot Rodding since 1957. To Preserve the Past and Enhance the Future.
Here's ours... www.toadsuckcarclub.com I know, it is a weird name, but the club is open to all makes/models, but we are slowly infiltrating it...
I primarily use ours for hosting photos from shows that I post here, but it's not a big hassle and I have fun with it... www.villainscc.com Bryan
we do (www.bearingburners.com) but its a pain in the ass. I guess if your club is more active its cool to have but ours has become pretty lame.
If you look thru most of the HAMB threads, you will certainly come across many of the club sites..... Now starting this thread is a keen idea to get them all to respond to your inquiry Sandy
Here is ours: http://clubs.hemmings.com/frameset.cfm?club=nightcruzers Is it worth it? I don't know. We don't get much feed back on it from people. The webmaster is busy working a job and raising a family so he doesn't update it much. Some members have asked if they could post pix and trip updates, but none of them know how and the webmaster doesn't want the site screwed up, so ,again, I don't know if it's worth the effort or not. We still do a spring and fall newsletter and we have a phone hotline that is updated weekly that does get a lot of calls, but mostly we stay in touch through E mails ,phone calls and hanging out together. Here's our main page. Click on the pic to enter. http://www.losboulevardos.com/ Here's our messageboard. http://www.losboulevardos.com/phpBB2/index.php Here's our gallery. Lots of great cars there. http://www.losboulevardos.com/gallery.html
The club I'm in doesn't have one yet, but I'm in the process of finalizing at least a Myspace for it.
the club i'm in is the indy hi winders we're the club that host the 500 world of wheels find us at www.indyhiwinders.com
I've seen quite a few that start out with a bang, and then slowly die on the vine. Nothing gets updated. It's more work then many expect.
old site for The Spares in San Diego http://www.7-13.com/spares and http://www.oldschoolpride.com not sure what use a website serves a carclub unless your looking to open chapters around the world, i suppose if a member cn make one up it's not a bad deal, myspace works quite well for networking online
http://www.wheelsoftime.org Founded in 1977 in the Lehigh Valley, PA. 2008 will be our 30th annual rod and custom jamboree
www.theoriginlpoorboys.com Mostly used for club members cars, show pictures, and show announcements. MySpace is where all the networking is at and a LOT easier to work with.
