Yeah, thanks to you. I'm finishing up the 440 for it and the rest of the drive line.

  7. Here's my 63 Plymouth wagon....and a photoshop of a 2 door conversion I was gonna do. Ended up working up a 4 dr hardtop conversion instead (another body style not offered that year)....four doors are easier with kids. ;) Don't have it anywhere close to done, though, so now it is yet another project sitting around here....

The Exner era B-bodies, the ones that cost him his job! The Elwood
Engle era, the ones that caused the Blue Ovel Guys and the General
to keep lookin' over their sholder.

I don't subscribe to many threads but I did this one.
    Growing up my dad had a 64 Polara with a 426 wedge and a 4 speed .
The story was that it was the fastest thing in Cleveland Tn. for many years. I was born in 65 and I remember it when I was little. He got rid of it when I was about 4. I hunted one for years that needed mechanicals that I could fix and give him for his birthday or fathers day. I never could find the right on. He is gone 5 years now and I would still like to have one but it will still be someday before that happens.

    Most likely , I can find you a 64 Polara but ..

It would not be a 426 4 speed, you would have to clone that part
ones I find would be 318 push button automatic
Guy I know tried and tried to sell one
sold it to guy to make nostalgia dirt track car

64 Hardtops are still around from time to time .The 2 dr sedans
are what is hard to find .

I would love to have one but money is tight right now I have a 8 month old little girl and a 4 year old boy.
I have been selling bits and pieces I will not use on eBay and here to get money to throw at my current projects.
If things change I will give you a holler.

I have 2 1/2-year-old twin girls. I tried to sell them for some 318 Poly speed parts, but nobody wants 'em. They came from me!

    Just kidding...

    Man, don't I know it!

There's a '63 Dart with a 318 Poly on the KC Craigslist (in today's parts section) that runs & drives for $750 OBO...

Here's a couple I drove when I was in the Army over in Germany, well until somebody wrecked them. After that they gave me a '66 Chevy.
When I got home in 1968 I bought a new '68 Plymouth Sattilite (318V8) I lowered it with white walls chrome rims and baby moons, duel exhaust with glasspacks and I cruised Bellflower Blvd. and Firestone Blvd.
