The Pile Up was a blast...But the week after was Dangerous!!! hahaa

Wow what a week...

I just got home last night after 8 days in Wisconsin.. We had a great time!!
I met up with The Weez at 3am in Burbank and we took a shuttle to the airport..then we met up with EL GAMBINO at the Wisconsin airport form there
it was going to a good time...

As you all know the Pile up was fantastic...saw allot of good friend and had
a really fun time. but what was about to take place afterwards was going to
be nuts..

Monday:

Johnny bought a Toyota Cressida for 50 bucks so they had this fantastic idea to putting the Piero Dummy in it along with the Gambino and Weesner dummy and launch the car off a 20 foot ramp that we made from a car trailer and a rear half of an old pick up.. Well I want to save the out come
for the next DVD but lets just say...it almost went dramatically wrong,,,,
but after the chaos settled...it was funny.. really funny... we were very
lucky that the fire didn't catch the woods on FIRE>.....

Tuesday:
We sent The Weez and Gambino off to the Airport and Bob and I headed
to the 815 where I hear there ain't no half stepping...We meet up with
The Drew of Suicide Axle also known as abomber30... Drew is da Bomb
and a lowrider madman,,,


my favorite line of the interview was when he's discribing the interior
"The Interior is black and blue like we leave the competitors" hahahaha



Wednesday:

We did allot of driving!!! Tuesday night we headed as close to Bobk's
and got a hotel..we got up early and met up with MR. K's house...
he is out of his mind...but a really neat place!! (sorry I have no stills)
but Johnny pointed out as we were getting a tour of his house / bath that
that was were Bobk is naked hahahaah visually WRONG...

From there we met up with Richard who had one of the coolest survivors
i've seen in a lon time,,,he has had this car since he was 14..and one of the nicest guy I ever met...






From there we met up with Titus and Jen and headed of the the Wonderful
World Of Mark Moriarty!!!
Holy Cow that guy has got it made!!!! We got to check out the progress
on the Car Craft dream car..Hes making progress..I guess there was allot
of stuff that wasn't right that he had to fix...

He also picked op this neat little guy...
The story is the guy originally showed it in 1960 and on the way to is first show it got damaged in the trailer so the guy was so mad that he stored it
in his garage, nail the garage door shut and never opened it till now...



HE also picked up the Trendero... What a crazy car!! I don't even know what to say here...

From there we stopped by Titus and Jens and Dammit he's got too much crap...hahahahaha Titus has projects till he 65 years old.. And Jenn is a
really talent upholster...
We ended up getting a hotel and got to sleep in..

Thursday:
Back In Wisconsin..
This is a special story...Johhnys Dad had a Roadster the he bought in 1962
and it been sitting in his garage ever since..Johnny's Dad passed a year ago
and we felt that Johnny was ready (Hot Rod wise) to take the car out and
get it fired up...I felt that it was Johhnys turn to tell the story of this very special Hot Rod... So we got to work and I got to say this car is amazing
as far as how preserved it is..it is in incredible shape..the car sat in a garage all its life...well we got it running,,,Congrats to Johnny..I'm sure its
going to be a blast..

 

Friday:
We headed out to Jefferson and shot the Lil' Dough..
this car is nuts!!! it was a show winner in the 60's going up against
cars like the Lil Coffin..great car and a great interview!!





From there it was off to the airport..after delay after delay..I got home
and passed out..

What a grate week...
I thank Bob Bleed, Johnny Thunder Stick, Bob Sr., Alex and Keith, Todd,
lil Chris and Cody, Bobk (For making us Late) hahahaha, Drew and all the
grate Hot Rodders I hung out with,,,

Wow, that harlequin interior is making me dizzy!! Not from the look but from the amount of time that went into making it reality. Damn, thats a lot of work.

Cool pics and I'm curious as the demise of the Cressida. Thanks for sharing those.

All I've done is work my ass off all week and wish I was still at the Pileup or that I suffered a concusion and slipped into a coma with my last thought being the Pileup..

Damn, you guys know how to have fun! I'm in awe of the great Trendero! Next time I'll have to make out to Mark's. I think nobody believes me about the Toyota/ramp fiasco! Maybe I get to crazed while I'm telling about it!

 

I'd have anyone of those cars in a heartbeat.

The last I heard of the Trendero, it was still at the Trend Body Shop in Chicago. Wow, I always loved that car! Have the Motor life? with the Trendero cover.

I thought the back half of the box on the Trendero was lopped off and bobbed. Was it reattached at some point in time?? Or am I thinking of another one?

 

yes i forgot to mention our first stop was to see my love Cheater Chris at the
Night Owl and had burgers...that made me piss out of my butt...hahhaa

an '86 Creseda!!!??? how the hell did you get enough power from that POS to even get it to drive up a ramp!!?? my best friend had one when we were in highschool, that thing was a death trap! when entering the freeway he had to smash the pedal and drive on the shoulder for about a mile before that thing was even close enough to freeway speed to merge!! and now that we've seen a before picture, can we see an AFTER!??

 

in the 815 there is no half steppin and fools get sprayed with automatic weapons. you know how we do it.. hahaha thanks for stopping by it was great to meet keith and I missed alex hopefully you guys will come back again. hopefully you guys got something to launch that ramp even if it was Mike B in a nummnuts speedo that he left at his house a few years back.
