I have a 55 coupe I am doing at the moment, mild mild custom, nearly finished the rust repairs and stuff. shaving all the trinkets, removing 'some' of the pointless side trim, extending the skirts/spats, removing the rear bullets off the bumper. Just little things like that.
I will show pics soon.
There is a guy on here, cant remember his handle 'Rich where are you man', Rich's 55 rules. Chopped, rear window treatment......looks killer. I think he is busy in the garage trying to get it finished

I'm still workin' on my '54 Capri. I'm hopin' to have a coat of paint on it this weekend. As soon as its all one color I'll try to post some pics.

 

Nosed and decked 51 sitting in a ravine near here. Hope to have it home soon.

kutty noteboom had one a while ago i believe it was a 54' with a with a 54' chevy front clip on it, extended rear quaters and a cont. kit oh and 55' poncho trim...anyone have pics of that one?

Nice! Keep em coming guys.......Seems to be a rare breed, I thought Lincolns were cool Kustoms but why is it that there isn't too many around?

 

What happened last weekend? and who's bus is that? That thing is bad ass! was it for sale?

 

I doubt the bus is for sale its a room to rent at the Shady Dell motel in bisbee Az.....called the tiki bus...linc belongs to a guy named anthony from OTHG Tucson...check out their web site or the thread about this earlier this week

Yeah, I would love to see some more as well. Those early 50's lincolns are rocking!

 

The reason that you dont see many is just that. There arent many left and wasnt many to begin with. For 1949 the entire lincoln line produced about 40,00 cars of all of the models total compared to 400,000 or so of the same year Mercury.

 

How 'bout this one? Dunno what ever became of this car, as these photos were taken probably 10 years ago or so. I seem to recall seeing this one in some magazines at the time...

 

Here's mine - pretty mild custome wise - I like to think they were factory customs

 

Probably, But with thier kool styling...I'm sure there's got to be more Kustom versions out there. Don't tell me that all the rest are either stock or crushed!
