'32 3w Coupe -Fresh "Garage" Find Hot Rod- They ARE Still out there.....

Well guys,

A few weeks ago I went to visit a Model A restorer friend of mine here in FL, and he tells my friend and I about his neighbor who just bought a '32 Ford out of a barn. We walk a block down the street, and this is the gem that we find staring back at us from inside of his garage - this car is freaking nice! Zero rust, no dents...bitchin'....

This is not my car, I am just posting these pics for the Gentleman who found and now owns the car, Frank. Frank was hanging out at his local cruise night, and a guy just asked him out of the blue if he was interested in buying an old car he had in his garage....the rest is in the pictures below....

The gentlemen gave Frank a data/build sheet that he got from the original owner/rodder...very cool stuff...

The coupe was built in Chicago in 1951-1952.....The prior owner got very ill and put it in the garage in 1960....In 1984 he moved to FL and had it shipped in a closed trailer to Clearwater, where it stayed until it was winched out on May, 24, 2007....This totals up to 47 years in garages....

Looks good, but I sure wish someone would come up with another word to describe these cars. "barnfind" is almost a cliche now. Especially since the last two issues of Hot Rod have show cased them. Hell, I guess we'll start to have guys who put old cars in a barn and take pics just so they can use the new word.

Unbelievable find!!! It is amazing that they still turn up in this condition, and hot rodded with all the right stuff. I hope he doesn't change a thing, it's perfect!! It's funny because I do know of two 3W's and a roadster within an hours drive of here that have been sitting in garages for over 20 years, but they can't be bought. Most of us have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than finding a deal like this one. I'm curious of what he had to pay for a gem like this.
