so...just played poker with the lemoore city manager last night, friend of a friend apparently. i'll try to talk to him again and see if he could help us out at all with the drive-in. kind of a long shot but I'll give it a try

This is the first year they're having it, but I just talked to the guy putting it on and he didn't give me a number but he said it should be a pretty good turn out.

LOUD NOISES!!! I won't be making it to Atwater this weekend, I need to be putting my transmission back together...using my work truck as a daily driver sucks, somethin about leaf sprung straight axles that's designed to be hauling a few thousand lbs minimum makes for a rough ride... soo...if anyone knows how to put a 700r-4 back together and doesn't have anything to do saturday, this is my first try at it...
Lets set up a modesto meet for the guys closer to modesto. My falcon is a piece and will not make it to fresno very easily. Last year there were several rods and some customs at the rockabilly invasion at the fat cat in modesto. We can meet up there. The chop tops are playin and they usually put on a good show. Thats in Sept. Or at the A&W any evening.

I gotta idea! So Billetproof is Sept. 15th. But to meet up locally... Selma's Parkin' in the Park is the next weekend. Sept. 22. It cost $25 to reg, but I am going to go spy out some "free spots" near by. It would be cool to get some greasy local dudes show up to what I think might be a gold chairer event.
sweet. too bad, I don't think all the SSR/PT-Cruiser guys will be there to represent like they were at the Kingsburg show alright, september is full(and probably too warm around here still). I checked the hamb calender and there's nothing around here in October. What do you guys think about October 13th or 20th to meet at the drive-ins in Lemoore?
