ID this side trim, i cant.

1955 chevrolet bel air side trim

 

that trim, more specifically, is 55 chevy bel air 4 door trim...

Does any recognize that black and red 55 Pontiac Star Chief sitting just behind it?

If I'm not mistaken, that should be Kustom55's old car.

 

i don't think its a pontiac look at the roof, looks more like a Lincoln or Mercury/Ford roof, with some poncho side mouldings. it might be Kirk Hammonds wifes car, or at least it looks like it.

 

its from texas and i do belive a lady drives it.

I looked real hard and long at that roof line BEFORE I made my guess......but the damage has been done and I'm going to stand by my foot in mouth.

 

Yep, that is not my old car. That is a Merc that had the same trim and paint scheme as my old poncho. When I first saw it it threw me off for a second too.

I sold the pontiac to a buddy back home in CA and the last pix is what it currently looks like

Does anybody repop the 55 Chevy 4 door side trim? I like the look of that alot.

 

That explains the Victoria trim I THOUGHT maybe I was seeing along the rear window.

Shoulda gone with my gut.

 

Got this on my Merc it's off of the sport coupe or convert...nose piece is shorter.
