Yeah, they did chop a Chevy and it was looking good. Here is Bill Hines supervising the younger workers on the project. Also a photo of Bill's own car.

Hey Larry, Malcolm and I went, it was great!! Probably wont find any pics of the galaxy though, we were just spectators. It was totally worth the trip, we had to leave pretty early.
I love to see Harrys' merc, he drives it as a daily and it still looks good in company like that.

 

Yea Harrys Merc is cool. I think that car has about 250-300k miles on it. I think he drove it year round for along time. Hey Jeff I thought Malcolm would be coming home with a new Galaxie ?? Gary

I had a great time. The quality of cars was way up from last year. Thanks to Gary Howard and crew for making the trip. It was great to see you guys again.

I met a bunch more HAMBers and saw some amazing cars. I got to hang out with the Infamous BOBK, what a hooght, and meet alot of the Kustom "gentry".

 

that green chevy with green wheels and poncho beltline trim looks like a tasty green apple jolly rancher......gave me a toothache just lookin'....mmmmmmmmm

 

damn good lookin rides! ill have to make that one next year!

Thanks for all the great photo's of the show. The Chevy convert. is looking way cool. I grow up thirty miles from Bill Hines shop in SoCal and we would go buy just to see the master at work. The funny thing about Bill is he looks the same as he did way back when.

Big thanks to NoSurf for the meet and greet, meet a bunch of great guys , good time had by all just back in the roadster, Damn it was hot again but the trip was well worth it. Thanks to all!
