Looking for info on a car club known as the "HOT IRONS" from back in the late 30s into the 1940s. I belive they were a California based car club. The club is mentioned in several books I have, etc. I was wondering if the club is currently defunct, is it still around, are and of its original members still alive?

Any furthur info is greatly appreciated....thanks!

I recently bought a 1927 ford gow job from an original member of the hot irons car club. He has owned the car since the early 1930s and raced it on the dry lakes of southern ca. You can contact me, Larry Struck, at 209 840 2501 for addition details.
