I'm thinking seriously about getting a 36 humback off of an ole' fella. I'd like to be able to take the whole family with me to car events (if it's still for sale). I did a search and didn't see much. Do you have any pics of them as mild customs or hot rodded? Grandpa said that they used to shackle them down in the rear, run fender skirts and have canisters with flame throwers out the rear......I'd like to see what that looked like... I'll post some pics of example that I have (some of the street rod wheels could be radirs or something different)

This was the 30-day job we did for a local guy. Started out as a stocker. I'd like to have one too, especially as a family car. TP
Nifty little cars those. Really like the years and styling cues and the added originality of rodding and/or customising one.
Earlier this year I moved a 36 2 door that was chopped about 3" and looked great. He tood a wedge out of the panel below the rear of the quarter window and the trunk, cutting the trunk away and then laying the rear pillar forward a bit. The finished product really looked good, and I wish I had pics to show, because changing the angle of the rear roof pillar really helped, even with the trunk in place.
