12th Annual "Road Zombies" BBQ in June ...who's joining us?

Heck yes... this should be sweet. Working on an "after party" right around the corner from the Elks Lodge at a bar called the Claran. We're lookin' to have some bands play that too. Hey Cab, Noteboomer, Johnny... when are we gettin' the band back together? Let's play the after party!!! We'll call ourselves Rollie Fingers and the Paso Penmarkings.

 

Only if i get to play the "Git"- tar


I know there's more Norcal hambers on this site with Pre 1963 rides! ...you guys comin to join us for some killer BBQ on the 9th of June?

Things Are lookin' good for the '54, I just put the rear end in it today and will have a drive line made tomorrow, then all I need to do is wire up the tail lights and fire up that new engine. Then the wife will have some thin' to drive to the BBQ, I'll be drivin' the '29 as usual.

 

Johnny-- after Rollie Fingers entertains the audience and passes out from "exhaustion", you can step in as lead singer. thus, you'll get to lead the majority of the show anyway.

Woody aka Rollie Fingers-- kinda next generation Darby Crash. I think we're onto something....

Stevie Cab on git tar. Thats a good move, because he's the smart one who stays sober-- thus will be able to consistantly carry a tune.

I'll play drums and use sharpie markers as drum sticks. That way i can help Rollie touch up his make up after he goes to sleep.

btw: im bummed because i cant be at the BBQ. work calls and im going to be in Germany. to others--- go to this event. it's a favorite and you wont be disappointed.

by the way, i was always the sober one in the band, somebody had to get all that music equipment back home at the end of each night

Hope to see everyone at the after party as well which will be happening at the Claran (1251 Franklin Mall) in Santa Clara, right around the corner from the Elks Lodge. We've got bands playing there too, and there'll be plenty hot rod parking available! We'll be passing out flyers for the after party at the bbq, so be sure to get one!

Im pretty sure 90-99% of our NorCal chapter will be there......

I will miss it since I moved , its a GREAT time

 

Should have a HAMB sign in sheet at one of the booth's Alex...You guys had about 40 I think last year!

BTTT.....just spoke to the wife and she's down for goin'. Tryin to line up a sitter, otherwise we'll have 3 bambino's in tow. If all goes as planned, the wife will be driving her 61 Nomad and I'll be driving my 59 BelAir.

We'll be there, this is going to be our new Econoline's maiden voyage, if I can get it charging, cooling, shifting, stopping by this weekend..... otherwise we'll be vending out of the 57. Stop by the Charlotte's Web booth and buy things, everyone.

 

We are really looking forward for this years BBQ, thanks to all who responded to this post.

Hey I did get the truck runnin' and drove it home on thursday the first time and drove it to and from work today, runs real nice, so the wife will be drivin' it to the BBQ on Saturday. See ya'll there!
