    Typikal, nice... love your style.
Again, I can't show anything this week, the only things I've been etching on are surprises for some HAMBers, and I can't wait for ya all to see them.

surf monkey, I think you just coined a phrase!
Man, it just gets better! Typikal, WOW!! Your work is just insane... as MrExcite said, I am drooling over your work as well in Rod and Kulture. Your ability to distort an image like that hurts my brain, but in a great way!
Janne, man... what more can I say but "flawless as always".
Sinclair, thanks! Coming from you, it's like an extra scoop of ice cream, man! Always been a fan of yours!

Here are some new paintings from the Road Devils show in Columbus and Billetproof in Detroit. Also a couple of the Big Olds painting. (thanks again Denise and Larry)
I would also like to invite anyone who has too much time on their hands to come to my first solo show at Boma in Columbus Ohio on June 16th. We will be doing the typical art stuff, but I talked them into doing a cruise-in as well. Info will be posted soon on their site www.barofmodernart.com. Would love to see some fellow artist from the HAMB.
    Thanks

    WOW!

Some great artwork indeed by all.

This is a project that I had planned on doing for tech week but I got behind on it and I was not sure how it would be taken as a tech piece.
I have the whole construction of it documented and did not know if it (the tech) belonged here in "Friday Art"or in the general forums. I made this as something to put up in the garage for myself. It was kicked off by the Motel sign I did a couple of weeks ago. It is hard to show just how cool this thing really lights up. Also working on a new painting that I plan on having done for next week. Hope you like. Let me know if you want to see how to make your own. It's about 40 in. wide.

I have not finished with the "drive in" lettering quite yet, but you get the idea.

Bad attempt at getting a picture of it lit up. It actually lights up much better than it seems.

Here is the striping detail on the lettering. Yeah I know it's not the greatest striping but I'm working on it.
Also learned not to drink any coffee if I am planning on doing any striping.

  22. This will be my responce whenever the art show is overwhelmingly GREAT.
    Seriously, everyone is kicking butt!

Jeff, that Drive-in's a knock out!

Flying P, you got the poop! Nice barge!

Guiseart---Don't make us wait, we're all busy people.

This week is like a bowl of M&Ms I'll just keep coming back for more and more!

Here's a couple pics of a 65 Impala I did for Oddball Kustoms. If you were at Billetproof last week, maybe you saw it.

Yes Doc.....thats the Art.....Wally Wood is a hero.......

  25. Typikal- I'd sure like to know where your head goes when you concoct your art. It amazes me. What's next?

Dankyd- equally amazing in a more comfortable way. Makes me wish my grandma was still alive so I could show her how to paint something besides landscapes and flowers. Like your vision.

  28. Here's one I banged out for an in-law late last night. It's based on a dream the girl had. Hot rods and hot dogs go together don't they?
