Man Thats One Hell Of A Merc..i Know People Will Argue But..sam Was The Man Not George...thats Who Should Be Knopwn As The Man,,,not George..
Darryl That is a fine job. That car could not be in better hands for the restoration. Wish I could have been there to see it. Thanks for the teaser pic. Rod
The plan is to take the car to Paso without interior, and finished after that Here is a couple more, and one of the next project to start this July.. Both Cars are to be done and on display at the GNRS in 2008
Cool keep us posted on Ala Kart. I love to see those cars found and restored (if they need it). A guy here in town has the A brothers Victorion hes restoring for a customer. I tryed to get him to post up some pics but know luck yet.
Darryl:The Merc. looks terriffic. It's gratifying to see a historical car preserved. To go along with the restoration I would like to see a history of the car -I.E. Bought new by Sam Barris, year chopped, subsequent owners, etc.
Absolutely perfect, you guys did a great job. Sam would be grinning from ear to ear to see that. Nobody could have done it better! Max.
Man, this car really makes me feel emotional. Seeing it back in it's original color gave me a similar feeling to when my kids were born. A little hard to describe actually. I really hope I get a chance to see it in person
Outstanding job. O/T If George got a street named after him, then Sam should get a freeway with speed limit of "cruisin" on it!
What a great color, first time I REALLY see it.Unreal car, unreal job you guys did, most excellent.Still waiting for the video though... And Rob,I know you see this and bet you just came.
Darryl, I would like to say hello to your mom/ Dad .I have known them sometime. I really enjoyed your dad's Blue Merc. Hope there doing well. Regards Dan McConnell
I agree that Sam is the man, but without George you may have never heard of either of them. Great craftsman/artists need even better promoters.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU... for keeping us updated on the restoration of the Sam Barris Mercury. ANd thank you Tom for your great looking enlargement. I cant wait to see some photos of it taken at Paso... outside in the sun, on the grass. WOW!!!
