Yes, that is dirt on 3WL's car folks, proof that it runs and drives. Pretty nice car! I took at least 20 shots of McPhail's Chevy at the Roundup but couldn't resist another handful. The car is perfect. This '34 was my favorite car at the show. Lots of attitude. More here: SK500 PICS Pay no attention to the allbum title....my host thing is screwed up...
NICE PICS. glad you liked mcphails car ,sean did an awsome job on the interior, it's an an honor to work with sean and dennis building these cars. midwest guys can build some neat cars too. !!
cool pics buddy so how many cars where there the wifey and i were going to try to make it but we found out about it too late in the year and finacially there was no way
...but did anyone actually see and hear this 3wLarry guy drive to, and into the show under its own power?...hmmm...
There was about 317 cars . And tons of fun. love the Midnite burnout last night. My roomed still smoked of goodyear. Great pics. Enjoyed them.
great time had by all, the weather turned out real good, 29AV8 made it down and back with no problem expect for a damn bouncing front tire. Super job by Micky, BIG Richard and of course the dukester.
Yep I actually seen you on the highway to the show, as you passed me. Sorry I didn't catch up with you today or yesterday and introduce myself, but I have a bad cold and didn't want to spread it around to all you HAMB members. And to top it off I blew the # 2 plug out off the right head. Now I gotta pull the head an helicoil it. DAMN.
...what were you driving? I passed several cars on the way 'cause my speedo wasn't calibrated and I found out later that what I thought was 65mph was actually 75-80mph all the way up there!
Hey yblock It was good to meet ya this moring. I had ended up putting a new coil on the car after the show. Started up like nothing was wwrong and off we went. May see you at Starbirds next weekend.
My car was already at the show. Some friends and I went to the Midway Cafe to eat and on the way back to the show you passed us. I was in an 05 Chevy truck then.
Great Pic's Eric, but ain't you supposed to be home working on something? BB Next year Mick !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BB
It was fun, cept for loosing that brake line on the way up, and then again on the way back! Guess some redesignin is in order. Thanks to Chaddilac for havin tools and a jack and takin me to the parts store. Great seeing everyone again even if I did spent alot a time under the coupe.
well, not into or outta the show, but i did see it cruising the show... and thanx, mick, for puttin' on a great show. (edit: wow, did i really say "show" that many times??? sorta makes me sound like ed sullivan, doesn't it.)
Great photos, thanks for sharing. Looks like alot of neat cars. Nice to see the Roadster's old VooDoo Child except it looks alittle naked without the Jeff Shea striping.
Here are a few teaser pics. The Dirtys,Docs new rag,and a unique shifter knob. A link to a few more.... http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v312/yobaby/Stray Katt 500/
but ed said it like "great shoe"....so your alright.... lots a nice rides there for sure! im really going to try and make it to the shoe next year mick!
Looks like a great turnout. How was the swap meet??? The swap meet was small- but we're going for quality not quantity right? Friday there were three of us set up at Duke's shop, and Saturday the 'official' swap meet had seven sellers if you count the SVO Mustang on a trailer. Ben D and I were the HAMB representatives set up at the Saturday swap meet.
Was awesome, Mick sure puts on a good show. You feel right at home. Good food and good company, but we brought our own full octane Lone Star.
Thanks for coming down its nice to put a face on a HAMBer.... Duke was with his daughter at the Mayo clinic for three weeks and only had a couple wks to throw it together. We are going to continue to have it because most of my stuff on my car came from a swap meet. I'm always open for suggetions. Happy Trails, Mick
Thanks for all the neat pics and yer right about the 34s attitude its rear end growled all the way home then screamed a little when we got closer . Time for her new quickie to be put in. B-Scott
