I've got an Amazon.com gift card and need to use it up. Any thoughts on good books dealing with old customs? Thanks for any input.
"The American Custom Car" by Pat Ganahl. Originally $34.95, now remaindered and a bargain, if you can find it "Custom Cars of the 1950s" and "Hot Rods & Customs of the 1960s" both by photographer extraordinaire, Andy Southard. "Barris Kustoms of the 1950s" and "Barris Kustoms of the 1960s" by George Barris and David Featherston. All books from publisher Motorbooks International (MBI).
Thats a great line of books. I have a few. Check out The American Hot Rod as well. Not about many customs, but also very cool. Its in the same line as the above.
thanks again. I just ordered all of them and should see them soon. Hey Steve, nice to have met you at the swap meet. Hope to see you in June at Goodguys in Indy.
