Heres a pic of my mildly customed 52 four door. I think it turned out awesome. I know its not a merc but I hope it shows that not everything has to look one way to be cool.

 

here is my buddys 4dr.

 

heres mine. took off 4" off. hindsight i would have taken more off the back and swung the B pillars forward a bit. it makes them look way meaner. anyway. good luck

EXACTLY how I would do one. Only thing I had different in my mind's eye is a floating grille bar. That is absolutely freaking dead-on. I love them unchopped and without skirts. You don't usually find them that way...

 

Rikster whats the front bumper on the 1st one?

 

Is it just me, or do the 'Mercs always just look alot more the custom-part than the Fords?

 

oops sorry , whats the bumper center in the 2nd pik by Rikster (black and white)

 

Looks like a stock bumper to me with a center piece made out of bend tubing molded to the bumper, then the whole things was replated.

Anyone have pics of Bill Wendt`s Merc. from the late 70`s. It was black with red interior,louvered hood,etc. He slso had AA/FA styled T ,with a blown Hemi. Wing on top ,spindle mounts .Awesome cars back then.
