This car is absolutely killer, WEEMARK... what a score!

But I have to ask... is the 'THX' license plate just a coincidence? :D

Here is mine. I've had it since 1973. Someday I may even finish it.

    Done 100% at home.

There are some seriously nice 35/6 on here.My mate just sold his 36/5winda to a guy from Germany a few weeks ago..a real nice car and a real loss locally. My own 36 is getting seen to. steadily, and will get juice brakes, 24 studder and a severe lowering, the spare wheel is gone....undecided whether to paint it or not....if I opt for paint, I know it won`t stop there and the roof will come down;)

Anyhow, mines the tan Petes was the blue

I love this thread! 1936 Fords are so adorable.
I have my 36 since August and raced it in Finsterwalde/Germany
I hope to find the right Fenton Headers and I´ll lower my baby a couple of inches;)

My PAIN-IN-THE-A**, I mean pride and joy in the works 36...Next change is to steel wheels as soon as I can afford the tires, and fixing the exhaust leak so I can drive it around the block, and a wiper motor so that I can get it inspected and registered so I can legally drive it around the block and so on and so on until it pisses me off once to often and I find something else.

Okay, I finally have some pictures to share of our 35 coupe...

Things I've been thinkin' about doin' to it:
    - wheel change
    - change the gages, steering wheel and seats
    - change the valve covers and air filter (don't ask)
    - put the bumpers back on
    - bag the rear
    - maybe skirts
    - maybe change the mani to a 3x2 with three 94's
    - paint... ?? who knows?!! Probably never

Unfortunatly due to a hard drive crash last year, I lost every photo of the car I shot except for the one previously posted and these other two files i have. Like the dumbass that I am, I did not have these backed up and the only thing left of the original files are these two low quality jpegs with obnoxious watermarks. i cant even get prints out of these two

    Thanks 50Fraud!

Result of an quick search: some other 1951 Chryslers have them too.

I believe that. The reference I consulted (Monstrous American Car Spotter's Guide) showed a bunch of different '51 Chrysler models, but the only one with those caps was identified as a Saratoga.

Got the Flathead fired today. All I need to do now is get a driveshaft and hook up the rest of the transmission and then I could drive it.
35 flathead with a T5 and airbags. Goal is to have it driveable by the NSRA show in Oklahoma City.

When this thread first started i was amazed at all the awesome photos of these 35's and 36's and only wished to own a 5W someday.

All it took was my prego wife to ask me to go to the store for a late night ice-cream craving, pick up an old car auto trader, made a phone call the next morning, then drove home with this 2 days later-

I was just going to post a pic of my roadster on the road to the LA Roadster show last year, but I guess I'm not quite smart enough. I can e-mail it if somebody would like to post it. Dave

I rest my case. You don't have to be smart to drive a 36 roadster to the LA Roadster Show.
I know a guy who can post it for you.
Here's my 35 tudor. Its a little rough around the edges.

This is what i was looking at before the 3W, Lee from the Swanks owns this one... it's pretty sweet and looks even better with the hood on!
