damn I was thinkin of running a 53 chev front suspention on my 34 chev.

  4. That's great!

But it should say: NO BURNOUTS (or you'RE outta here)

  5. Gramatically correct or not, that rule should be removed!

I would agree, but then I remember when I was in high school working at an auto parts store. One day a man comes in and we get on the subject of old cars. He pulls a picture of his "baby" 39 Ford Coupe=SWEET car - out of his wallet. In the reflection of his polished fender you can see another classic - with tears in his eyes he explains to me this picture was taken seconds before that other car lost control of his "burnout" and plowed right into his coupe. All this in an aisle of a grassy field during a car show.

That's given me second thoughts about hotdogging it in crowded spaces ever since.:(

Does anyone know who owns the hood? Obviously those are the Billetproof rules Word for word, except "your", as seen on Billetproof flyers for the past 10 years.

I'm stoked whoever did it, did it. I want to have it displayed at Billetproof.

  19. ...that's a good use of a Pontiac hood.

are they saying you can't spin your tires >no burnouts< or are they just trying to keep the hippies out?

There should be an addendum that you can eviscerate said asshole after the crash , although I wouldn't need it in writing to do it. A pound of flesh for a pound of steel...

When I was a teen people doing burnouts is what shut down the cruise nights at most of our loacations. Eventually the highway patrol was on the scene every friday night and then the place we were at kicked us out too much liability with nubs doing burnouts with crowds and kids around. I have seen one after the other shut down because of reckless behavior. If you like doing burnouts fine do them somewhere like a track where your not effecting the whole cruise in or show.

I might be wrong but I seem to remember seeing that hood or one very similar on the Poor Boy's website a while back:

I guess they wont let me in at billet proof. I am a burnout and my T roadster has IFS. In my defense, the IFS is of my own design and fabrication and was built to be raced. While it may not be traditional, it was built with a combination of junkyard parts and raw steel and aluminum for by my own 2 hands. Now that I think about it, the whole car was built that way.

  25. I'm sure they'll be happy to do that once you pay the extra insurance premiums to allow such behavior.

Burnouts are for posers...Look At Me !!!!!!!!!!
Maybe they're just trying to get the right "patina" on
    their tires.

    Kirk,

It's the Poor Boys hood. We made it up for last year's Midnight Mass.

To answer another question: It was the burnouts that got us kicked out of Midnight Mass II.

By the way Kirk, you might want to look at the front page of our we site. We liked your pretty mug so much we just had to use it.

Bruce, can I put the hood up at the gate for Billetproof?
