    that is great BUT, how about showing how you make the pipe look like Chrome?

    Looks good Tingler, thanks for the flame tech... nice! man acrylics are so hard to blend sometimes because the paint dries so fast:(
    I would really like to see the chrome tech as well, I've always been amazed how people make paintings with chrome lookin parts to them.

    Cab, there are extenders for acrylics. You loose some opacity with 'em, but they do work.

    I am a big fan of the Golden version, but then all their stuff is nice. Last bottle I got was an 8oz. squirty thing, it looks like milky water.
    If you're cheap, you can get the faux finishing extenders from about any hardware store. It'll work just the same, I use it on larger projects...

    You can also lay down some gel medium under the paint, to get a few extra minutes of blending time

    I know how to make the pipes look chrome, but it's TINGLER'S thread and I'll wait and see if his way is like my way.:p
