Maybe not as old as you are thinking, but I still kick myself for letting an Edelbrock Scorpion get away. It was the Performer of the '70s, I guess. Same vintage as the Tarantula that predated the Victor Jr.

I've got the complete set up injected. Run's great. Not supposed to hit that switch till you're burning all the gas that's already pouring in. Man-a-fre was cool for the day but a bugger to keep tuned. Your's isn't for a big block is it?

Exactly what I was looking for guys, keep 'em coming. Does anybody know the story behind Crietz? I've never heard of them.

    I like the McGurk.

I dont have any intakes that are rare, just thought I'd comment on the McGurk.

I picked up a somewhat rare magnesium MacKay manifold that uses four Weber 48's.

crappy pic, I know.. But I haven't seen many of these. I picked it up, just because it is a little different.

Probably not that rare, and certainly doesn't hold a candle to the stuff already posted.

  16. I bought a small block intake for $20.00 one time. Another guy quickly forked over $250.00 for it. Turned out to be a Winters foundry experimental intake. It had a GM casting number on it but I can,t remember shit anymore....

Interesting that the manifold is from a 55 Chevy with the small ports. I wonder when it was made? 55?

I dig the Nicson alot, 2x2 setups for chevys seem really hard to come by. I did a google search the other day just for kicks, and it didn't give me squat.

  30. Here's a very rare 4-2 intake, 4 in-a-row Weber DCNF's resulted in a look much like a vintage Maserati V8. The rear carb location would not allow for a stock distributor so an angle drive was engineered to kick it out of the way. I bought this setup without the angle drive so will probably run an offset drive like you see for some blower applications.
