mo' doors = mo' fun?

Here's my bomb.


I don't care what anyone says, I dig 4 doors...I dig 2 doors...I dig Chevy’s and Fords too, I like OLD CARS, doesn't matter if it has "resale value".

One of my biggest complaints about the whole "4 doors suck"(which I get ALL the time from buddies) argument is...

I thought "hotrodding" and "kustoms" were about making a car/truck into what YOU want, make it different....be different...
if everyone goes out and buys a 2 door "_______" and chops it "so many" inches and puts it on bags, flat black with WWW tires and mexican blankets....that’s different right?
(for the record, i love all those cars too)
Don’t get me wrong, I love 2 doors, not cause the amount of doors, just cause a cool old car is,...well, a COOL OLD CAR.

this is cool, yeah its a little new but at least you didnt try to make it something its not. I like it a lot.

 

I couldn't agree more. My more-door Plymouth still gets thumbs up everwhere I drive her. I have a 2 door Chevy too and get more compliments about my 4-door than my 2. So far it doesn't matter to me either way.

 

Any pre-65 car is cooler and more fun than 98% of the rest of the cars on the road. Who cares how many doors.

It has shiny paint and its a more door, the kiss of death on this website.

But I love my "tuna boat", it's mine and I love driving it. It makes me smile when I drive it, and god knows I need some more hapiness in my life.

my 4 door BelAir is alot of fun and plenty of room to haul friends and enough room in trunk to spend the night!

 

Here is my 49 Lincoln "Da Coon" I actually wanted a 4 door over a 2 door, keeps it family friendly but still has a great look.

53 Merc

 

I don't count doors ... as long as it's old Detroit iron and the body lines flow, I love it. My buddy has a '49 Merc four-door, and his is the only car where I really don't mind if I don't get shotgun.
