Long story short on mine. One guy that we go to shows with had the car in the early 60's and then another guy we used to go to shows with bought it. He fixed it all up until he lost interest in it about . I years ago where it was rusting away halfway in and out of a barn. I always wanted the coupe since I was a kid. When I was 25 my Dad worked out a deal with him and suprised me with it. Now dont think he paid for it, he just made the deal and now I'm STILL paying it off!! ha ha. I'm 27 now and its still in the works!
Who was it that said he wouldn't want to be part of any organization that would have the likes of him as a member. Anway this one is mine. (Hope the pictures come up).
No offense to anyone, but the whole idea of a super-elite-o, Grey-Poupon-passing HAMB Deuce Hair Club For Men (TM) just makes me cringe. Deuces might be "the ultimate hot rod" and all that jazz, but we've all seen plenty of '32 Ford Betty Boop Pro Street abominations that would get hooted off the HAMB, and rightly so. I'd take Bass's A or Jimmy White's A or Django's '36 over 95% of the Deuces I've seen at the local lawn chair krooz-ins. "Spreading the Gospel of Traditional Rods and Customs." Period.
No problem....just try air freshener in your Deuce....then you can say Dueces are like a fresh mountain stream running through a piney forest.

A poser, not even a real car. Probably won't even qualify for the cool sweat pants, let alone the secret handshake. Damn.
