That was his name...I have his contact info sitting in a file somewhere...I put it in a "safe place."
I haven't gotten back up there to have a Sonic Burger in the Caddy yet. Because I'm an idiot.
You know, thinking about it, that's the kind of road trip that NEVER comes along in a lifetime. I need to make that happen next month.

What did these cars have for front seats? I have heard they had van buckets and some had a bench. Does any one know what they actually had?

This is a cool thread. There's a guy that lives down the road from me that has a Thunderbolt and Ronnie Sox's comet. Ive known him a long time and never seen them out of the garage. And no he won't even think about selling them.

The Super Stock Mopars of the time had buckets out of A-100 vans, on non-adjustable aluminum stands.
I'm not sure what the T-bolts had, but I think I remember hearing they used Econoline van buckets.

This one was the one Reggie Jackson owned. Ric Johnson sold it to him, and then bought it back after the fire at Reggies garage. I don't remember what number it was.

Those was known as Bostron seats found in the early A100 Dodge vans and Econolines. They was used becaues of the lighter weight.

I have like 20 High Res pics of a real M/T thunderbolt that was on ebay several years back (was going to make a clone). I think it sold for a couple hundered thousand. The problem it that they are somewhere on my 2 harddrives. I run into them every so often. If you still need them I'll find them.

  15. Is there anyway you can get me a few current photos of the Sox Comet? I've heard that car was in OK. but have never seen it. A photo of the T-bolt would be cool too. I'd love to see the Sox car!!

Oh, don't overlook the go-kart he's match-racing in the other lane -- believe it had 3 McCulloch chainsaw engines and was revved up with the rear axle raised off the ground with some kind of wedge and then it was slipped out when it took off.
