Bob Bleed's Stray Cat ed. got me thinking about hotrod songs. I'm not talking about songs to cruse to, or ones that make you plant the loud peddle, but ones that sing about cars.
My first two are ironically the Stray Cats' "Built for Speed" and "Hotrod Gang," but my number 1 is "Hotrod Lincoln" (Commander Cody version).
    What's your's?

Weird- I did this same post a few weeks ago and it died without one response. Got a lot of reads but either people just don't like me or it was a bad time for personal opinions.
Rev. Hortan Heat's car songs to me are the most energetic to me without being corny novelty songs.

"Hotrod Lincoln", "409" "Dead Mans Curve" there are to many, but those will work for now.

I'd have to say "Comin' After You" or "Indy 500" by the Hot Rod Hucksters. ;) :D Of course I'm still working on "1200 miles" about our drive to Austin for the Roundup, but even at this point I love it! :D
