    Biggest wrecking yard in the Southern Hemisphere. Apparently. IMG_4012.jpg IMG_4081.jpg IMG_4082.jpg IMG_4115.jpg IMG_4139.jpg IMG_4046.jpg

  7. God knows who would buy it, most of the cars are basket cases. Seems the old boy had a penchant for taking the wheels off everything and leaving them sitting on their belly in the dirt.

  10. Once those blackberry vines wake up that Buick might as well be wrapped in barbed wire.

You ain’t whistling Dixie there brother, I fought through them last year to get the rear end gear and pinion out of this ‘50 Chevrolet. Bled like a stuck hog! Luckily the berries were ripe!

I pulled the "Nashacado" out of vines like that which were so thick I could barely see the car, just them nashacado.jpg big 'ol taillights. I used my Kleins to cut what I could, and yanked it out with my pickup (Ford). After a bit of TLC, it ran and drove. That was 25 years ago. It still lives and is a family cruizer for a friend that I gave it to.....

  28. Years ago Art Ruggerio had a Sunoco gas station with a similar Doge wrecker that we used to pick up a Willys sedan. At 50 miles an hour on the highway the engine was flat out screaming, but the wrecker had enough gearing on the low end.to pull a house down.
