I have a cowl from what I thought was a 31 Murray body. One piece top and sides. Gas tank slips in under the cowl. Belt lines like a 30/31 but the firewall or what is left looks like 28/29. What do I have here? Is it a Briggs? Is it not a Model A and something else all together?

That must be it. After I looked at pictures it seems to be. I never knew they used those body lines on a 28/29 body. Never too old to learn. Thank you sir.

I pretty sure its a 28-29 town car or town sedan too. I have a complete one that I hope to turn into something some day. 28-29-Town-Car-small.jpg 28-29-Town-Sedan-small.jpg

Yep, '28-9 Fordor. They used a normal '28-9 gas tank under the cowl sheet metal instead of being exposed.
