Maybe somebody's a better detective than me? Friend of mine gave me these old Crane roller rockers, supposedly big block Chevy. Did some internet sleuthing, no go. Anybody got an old Crane catalog?

    Thanks, John

Have a side shot, they're usually full of needle bearings, when they go, they take out everything.

Nothing is torn up, all fifteen of his brothers look about the same amount of wear. Can't fine nothing that relates to that "101M"

    Probably 1.7:1 rockers....

  6. Standard for a BBC. I'd pop one apart and look at the bearings.

It may not be a Crane, could the M in the stamping indicate a brand, like Manley, etc?

Sorry I was looking at the post originally on my phone and did not see the Crane stamp. the oldest Crane catalog I have is 1977 and these numbers do not correspond with the part number stamped on your rocker arm.

If it's for a BBC it should be 7/16" stud, so nothing odd about that.

That could be an early 70's rocker. Looks like it has some wear. Lippy
