I stand by what I said. Your reply is ridiculous. The are no ECM's(Engine Control Modules) in 1966 GM cars. Get your own facts straight.
I think that is a trolly jack used on a lift. That style lift went under the axles to pick up the car, so if you had to change a spring for example you would have to jack the body/frame up for access.
