Alan great to see you back on...I knew you were working on this project and it is now really in a place of delivering the goods...

It seems you are a very performance minded individual...

I love what you have done with the Hotrod...I prefer the vintage bias plied entries over the more modern are they radials or bias not sure...but as alluded it resonates with where things were heading in the early to mid 60s...aka wider tires...

That said you have and can adjust these tires/wheels to what mood or event you're participating in...

Anyways I wanted to see you back on and here you are...awesome!

Look forward to seeing this evolving Hotrod in action someday...especially in its piecrust mode...dually or not...;)

...sitting pretty tucked in considering the deep channel and the extended wheelbase looks very fitting on this low slung hotrod...

...Agreed...a few more...this is at or before 1940...

Hotrod was going global in unison...then all hell broke loose...note the Deuce Highboy with a Terraplane beside it in the bottom pic, a Mopar in the pic above and a 35 Ford in the first...

It's funny I'm looking at that 35 ford in the top pic and it reminds me a bit of what @ClarkH's Speedster looked like when he dragged it from the weeds...I wonder if he met the actual owner that was modding it before it was abandoned and left to deteriorate...perhaps it was inspired by these Downunder roadracers...hmmm

...Different times...derelict vehicles were everywhere...I remember my first old car...a near complete 39 Chev for 25 bucks...that was in the mid to late 70s...in the early 60s you could buy running Hotrods and Vintage cars for $500 or less...old shells were probably a dime a dozen...looks like it was a spinoff of a Showrod destined for the circle track racing with the big spoiler on top...

This is over the top...should put an aircraft engine or a straight 8 in it...you are right...this builder has a good eye...I think it might be well suited for a race against the Munstermobile...;)

There was a show car around in the 60s that looked like that.

Considering classic builds and survivors, I hope this fits in. Rotten wood Garage out of Georgia built this, I truly don't know more details on it, could've started out as coupe body....but I love it!
