What a great story & lovely car! I love the way you toned down the bright colour, it's perfect!

    Thanks all the nice comments!
    I appreciate it :)

After the Tampere Hot Rod & Rock Show in April 2022 there was another show in May. I organized Primer Magazine 20-years Anniversary Show in my hometown Karkkila, Finland.

After all shows I booked time for engine tune up.
My friend owns older roller dynamometer and idea was to to tune up AFR (Air Fuel Ratio) as good as possible. AFR was quite good with stock jets and timing. There was some mystique problem in the 21-stud. Sometimes it drops 1 or 2 cylinders off. Weirdest thing that it could be whatever cylinder. I have a new Stromberg e-Fire, new plug wires, new plugs, new fuel pump, new alternator… We didnt find what was the problem….

After the engine tune up I drove the car to trailer and towed it to another friends garage to do 3D wheel aligment. That is a thing that you should do every car!!

I was bored this engine problem. I couldn't find the reason!! Car sit about one month and didn't touch it at all!
There was still some electrical work to do and it took almost rest of the summer.

When electrics were done I did some test drive in the roads first time! Great feeling!!

At the end of the August car passed registration procedure! Finally I had a pleasure to bolt Finnish plates on it!!
There is still some issues on the 21 stud and clutch is slipping. So enough work to do in this winter!

    Best regards

I have one of those Stromberg distributors on my T roadster and I had running issues with it too, not sure if you ever got yours solved, but my issue was my generator quit charging, and the Stromberg distributor needs to have at least 6.5 volts to run properly, it would start and run with just the battery but it ran poorly. Once I got my generator working properly again, all of my distributor issues went away. Now it start easy and runs great through the RPM range.

Thanks for all the comments! Very glad to read all the compliments!! :)
About the engine "not running perfect"-case:
I got a new e-Fire from Clive at Stromberg. That doesn't change a thing at all. I also tried with new plugs (32 pieces), different gap in the plugs, another new set of plug wires. I add extra ground cable from distributor to chassis. I add a fuel pressure regulator.... everything.
I try to post a video here somehow how it runs...

    Best regards

Start it up and test to see if your generator is charging. If it's not making at least 6.5 volts, the distributor won't work. Easy thing to check, get that out of the way first. That was my problem.

Thanks for the all compliments and nice words!!

I promised that I won't start as big project ever!
My A-Coupe was total "puzzle" when I bought it November 2007.
Terrible work to build a car for this crap

This '34 project was even worst puzzle than a A-Coupe!
There has been few dream cars on my mind something like +25 years:
    A-Coupe (DONE)
    '33-34 Coupe (DONE)
    '48 Chevy (DONE)

This time I decided to go the easiest way and in June 2022 I bought ´48 Chevy Kustom.
