When it comes to the grill I'd tend to agree with 57 Fargo

  2. Yup all cars should look exactly the same. I strongly disagree it’s an ugly car, maybe it’s because I refuse to stay inside the “box”

Flamboyant comes to mind but not over done.
Very 50's styled I like it.
The 1/4 panel trim reminds me of a Simca Beaulieu.

  7. I understand them since the mid 50's til today, almost always a weak, and over decorated version of what a custom car is.. Having grown up in So Cal during the 50s' I've seen it all and this car is just Tacky..

Not mine, but as previously noted, shine it up and see if it grows on you " as is"...

As everyone knows customs are built to please the owner, production cars are built for the masses (boring) ... I like this car. I suggest if you don't like it to keep the negative comments to yourself

All customs must look like all other customs... Geez, I thought everybody knew that.

Love the anti-custom comments, they are so predictable... and before somebody gets their balls in a pinch and fires back at this post, go look up the word custom in the dictionary, and please don't reply to this post.
Some people get it, some don't, some are sheep.

@iliketacos thanks for posting up the car. I had been stalking this for about a year before I was finally able to get it. Personally, I love the way the car flows from front to back. It’s definitely an East Coast custom, but hey, I’m an East Coast guy. It’ll stand out in a crowd, but that’s part of the appeal. My only pet peeve is the front grille. I’m just not feeling it at all, so I asked the HAMB photoshop gurus to create a new face for the car. These are the two that I like. I’m glad everyone feels differently about the car, good and bad. If we all liked the same thing, this lifestyle of ours would be really boring.

    Definitely prefer the top one.

This car has the perfect look for cruising Miami. Just keep a couple of pink flamingos and a beach umbrella in the trunk!

I would rechrome the grille if I could afford it.
The only change I would do to he car is loose that bullet in the middle of the hood ... It looks like a pimble.

The current outside grille and bumper is fine but, it
would even look better if the wire mesh panel behind it was changed or enhanced.
Perhaps, the 1958 Pontiac grille mesh.

    OR perforated metal.

Or (BEST AFFORDABLE IDEA) make your own grille using cabinet knobs like "back in the day".
    Look at this:

might be cheaper than bodywork and changing grilles and bumpers that would more than likely need chroming too
