John, it takes a lot of moxie, to write the tribute you composed, a lesser person would still be stunned and searching for any words at all.
Bravo that you chose to share with us all in the HAMB Universe, articulate details about Pats world and neighborhood and your very special, fortunate, friendship and relationship with him!

Thank you very much for your words, great story!
    Thanks from Dennis.

Thank you for taking your time to share your memories with us....

  6. I read every word and all the words in between those.

My eyes became a bit blurry towards the end ... I wanted to thank you for taking the time to share just a little bit of your friendship. There are good people in the world...Pat was one ... I feel that many people who met and knew Pat are more the better for it.

    Godspeed Pat.

John, Thanks for your first hand accounts of what a Great Person Pat was! Like a few others, I had to wipe my eyes a little bit, but I also chuckled a lot. Don't be a stranger here, Carp.

  15. Of all the tributes to Pat Ganahl, to me, your tribute is the one that affects me most. You knew Pat as a good neighbor, and a friend. I wish that I could have, too.

I have no idea why I am sitting here crying about people I never met. But, there we are. Thank you so much for your first post, John.

Fantastic post, glad to have you here.

i have a feeling you won’t be the only one hanging up a new picture in the garage. I know I’ve got a spot picked out already.

Beautiful tribute. Thanks for sharing it with us all. And thanks for documenting the “testing adventures”. I laughed out loud the first time I saw it - Pat’s big grin doing dry hops in the driveway.

On behalf of all of us, please be attentive and rally the neighborhood in support of Anna. The shock will begin to fade for the public, her life has changed forever.

  28. Thank you John for sharing your personal friendship with Pat, hearing stories of being neighbors proves he was the same type of man we have always believed him to be, the educator & the humorist and a guy that eats & sleeps hot rod.

I'm sorry for your loss of your friend, mentor & neighbor. HRP
