Here’s the recently completed World Headquarters for the Bridge City Speed Shop. Ok, it’s really just the new garage tucked into the back corner of the farm...but it sounds better when you call it something official sounding.
@Boneyard51 Thanks Bones! Don’t forget the Honda Hobbit parked next to them! The wife saw it at an auction, and just had to have it. It’s up to me to get it running again.
Does in progress count? PO only built on half the pad. We added some more to the pad and poured an apron. Come spring we will finish building the shop over the entire pad. Sent from my SM-G950U using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
This is my humble abode. I went from a dirt floor carport, to a 20x26 concrete floor metal garage. The crazy thing is that most of the "junk" has appeared in the last 14 months.
Wow, there are some really nice looking shops on here! Then there are those that look like mine. Try really hard to always keep it picked up but sometimes it just doesn't happen. If I spent to much time cleaning I would never get anything done. At least when you see it you will know that someone works there.
Not mine, my best friend two houses down! His design, I just helped! I think it’s looking good. He is a railroader and that wood on top was salvaged from an old “ Katy” box car! He has big plans for decorating! Like using tail lights off various cars, in the ceiling. We are going to hang a 900Kaw and a 79 FXS from the ceiling in two corners. Make the bar out of a pickup front clip. Some tail gate benches. Etc. My friend did this floor for about $600. It really changed the garage! I wish I had taken before pics! Bones
Started with this.... Not a lot of room to work with two cars inside. Then moved interstate. Now .. with a garage workshop outside and garage under the house... Outside ... side by side double. Under the house nose to tail tandem. Room to move and tools accessible... Plenty of time to think about the next improvement... Also, room to relax with a couple of beers and tall stories...
Mines in progress and only has about half of my crap in it.... has nice, dry parts storage outside and a carport though also plenty bright!
Moved everything out, finished drywall, floor and moved the speedometer repair into the single car side of the garage.
1932 fridgedare full of Hamms, 1932 Koken barber chair for breaks. Vietnam era Sansui stereo for tunes and too many hot rods to ever finish. Paradise by the dash board lights.
