586BBE3A-F41A-4A15-B6AE-CB75106FAF7A.png I did this with the Okie Apache and within 30 minutes we had a winner.

The wife is interested in this color for one of our builds. I called TCP and asked for a sample or a color chip and they basically told me to buy a qt. I doubt it's a custom mix. They won't divulge any info.
I don't really wanna spend a hundred bucks if we decide we don't like it in person.

If anyone recognizes this color, I would appreciate a color code or at least a year/make and I'll take it from there.

I think there was a Honda, late 2008 or so. Mystic green, is what the web says. Maybe close. If not, go to a paint supply store and look at the color chips.

I thought it would be close to the 2005-2009 Legend Lime code ( P1) Ford used on the GT Mustangs, but it is too gold I think.

I cant help with the color, but I agree with the method of choosing an existing factory color. Much easier to have mixed, always gonna be available, and looking at it on a car in sunlight will tell the truth compared to trying to pick one off the charts in a store. Good luck.

That looks like the green on a Honda Element, early 2000's

Print it out on photo paper and have it “scanned” at the paint shop.

See if you can get a look at:
2005 Galapagos Green Metallic Honda Element EX

The code for that is: G-511M.

I was going to suggest the Mustang color too but looks like you've already covered that base. Here are a few you could check out, from my older PPG/Ditzler chip books:
1973 Cadillac Sage Poly Code 44 PPG Formula number 2529
1974 Cadillac Lido Green Code 30 PPG Formula number 2699
1980 Chrysler Corp Teal Frost Poly Code SG4 PPG Formula Number 3147
1981 Chrysler Corp Lt. Seaspray Green Code VF2 PPG Formula number 3347
Hard to tell accurate color by looking at a computer monitor. Paint chips aren't a lot better but maybe some of the info posted here will at least give you a place to start. Good luck!

paint it 1969 Chevy Frost Green, and call it a Muscle Car.

  14. 2006 Lexus Sage green looks close. Also the 99-03 Lexus Desert Sage Green Metallic is similar in tone.

  16. Is that the same Tammy that left Tamco in the last couple years?

Not that I have heard. Why do you think she left?

We aren't 100% on the Burgandy we started with. Plus every custom is some shade of red or black. Looking for something that looks like 1959-1962. Something subtle, we are not an in your face kinda crowd. They tend to weather the trends a lot longer.

Dodge had a couple greens back in the 70's F3 and F5 I believe are the codes.

Google says: RESTORATION SHOP FERN GREEN METALLIC #2608, ASIN B0038D5TRU

Didn't throw anything up that's similar.

Aikka MT69 "Light Green", maybe? Might be hard to come by.
Late 70's Ford Europe "Regency Green" is in the same ballpark, a bit more yellow.

  26. Was there 2 Tammy's? There is Tammy Barney (who the company was named after ) who is the owners wife by the looks of things and there was a Tammy Miller who looks like she ran things. I looks like Tammy Miller left and started another company in 2021.

  27. I think you are right? That is why I was asking. Wasn't the other Tammy a daughter in law or something?

  28. Edit: I just checked her Instagram. Tammy Miller looks like she was the one who was the "Tammy" everyone talked about at Tamco and she has definitely left and started Orion and she mentioned no more family drama so sounds like she was part of the family.

  29. It's kind of a "fools errand" trying to match up or identify colors on a computer monitor. But you might try to find a sample of "Steel City Gray" to look at. Late 60s early 70s Corvette color. But I'm thinking it's a bit darker than what I'm seeing onscreen.

IDK, I don't have FB anymore, so I am out of the loop. I hate that. I never ordered online. I sent her a text and she made it happen.
