I bought this in a box at a yard sale. Don't know what it is.
I assume it's automotive, tool related since every other thing I bought was a tool or auto. It was in a red cardboard tube. About one inch in diameter but I didn't measure.

They almost look like some of the pieces that I have in my late son's tool box that he made in the machinist class at Perry Tech. Meaning pieces turned on a lathe while learning to use the lathe.

A drill guide to center a smaller diameter drill in a larger existing hole? Maybe used in drilling a broken recessed stud to use an EZ out? Just a dumb assed guess.

Looks like a set screw has been run up against the side of it a bunch of times. Must have fit in an adjustable fixture of some sort. Maybe holding something like an indicator on a machine or such. You will figure how to use it for something :) Mike

    Anyone want any?

  22. Almost looks like industrial carbide sandblasting tips? They usually come in tubes like that

  23. If you put one of them back in one of those red cardboard tubes and lay it on a park bench somewhere conspicuous, I bet you the police will come by and try to identify it for you. Who knows. Maybe the FBI will even show up to help them figure out what it is.

    Problem solved.

The first post has the bottom of them...the 3rd picture. It's flat with a C stamped in them.
The hole is NOT all the way through and is not threaded.

They resemble the roller spacer, that fits part of the cleat track system, for a late
