    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Did the pickups actually come with the fenders in that illustration, or was that an artists idea of how they should look?

  3. Bob, IIRC the Willys pickup truck rear fenders were very similar to the early 1950's Dodge pickup trucks.

    They are very similar to 46 Chevrolet/GMC pick ups also. I had two and the Chevy./ GMC fenders are easier to find than stock Willys ones. How you doing Nick?

    Probably too late to start collecting Willys parts, but a pickup with a
    '39 car nose and the later rear fenders would look nice, I think.

    40ragtopdowen that picture is so cool!! I have had the pleasure of seeing stock Willys back in the day when people used them for transportation. It wasn't as old as the time you posted but in the 60's.

  14. If I was the owner of the white car, I think I'd be removing the license plate frame. I assume the plate reads "SLICK WILLY" but that's not what I'm seeing ... :eek:
