Tks for great pics. Wonder how that pink & white Buick changes rear tire. Scary looking sky in some pics must have kept some cars at home

It looked as though the Buick had screw-on, removable Skirt panels. Sky was threatening quite a lot, but the sun also came in and out all weekend (good for photography).

Thanks so much for sharing your photos, it is almost like being there.

I know how time consuming it can be to edit and upload all of that.

I'm sure you've answered this many times, but do you mind if I ask what brand of camera you use and digital or film?

Tom, you really do those of us that can't be there a wonderful service by taking such top notch photos. A heartfelt "Thank You" from all of us is in order. One problem though, I felt a warm wet spot in my chair when I saw the rear shot of the tan 36 roadster with the skirts and continental kit? And the owner/builder? of the green 54 Chevy with the one gold tooth has one helluva sense of humor, and a fine eye for style. Beautiful car as were so so many others. Thanks for sharing!

These pictures bring it all alive for those of us who can't travel. And more. We worry that maybe the movement is losing steam, drag strips are closing, and young people are losing interest in all things car. But these photos are also reassurance that we are fine, maybe not as many hot rods and customs, but lots of really fine ones. More paint, more tradition, more innovation and skill. And Texas car people are showing us all that Texas is a real hot spot (I know that all these cars were not from Texas, but many are). So thanks so much, Tom, and congratulations to our Texas hot rodders and customizers, you are more than keeping the hobby alive, you are furthering it.

Shoeboxes need side trim; their sides are too plain without it. This car's scallop does an amazing job of replacing the need for trim. Good job!

Downlojoe, the ‘36 belongs to Roger O’Dell. He drove the car to Austin from Riverside, California. I don’t know the ‘54 Chev owner.

Thanks for taking and sharing all the photos. The response on here shows that it certainly is appreciated. The Nikon 810 is a beautiful piece of equipment but it's the maestro that makes it sing.

I think Tom must carry a notebook, with a standing position for each car year.
