Fabing up some drop-cloth curtains for the BopTop for when I'm parked. Don't want the wind filling the car up with water!

 

...Hate that you have to go through all of this, but you're much braver than me to drive that far in a Roadster.

 

I agree with Don. I admire guys like you that drive through hell or high water to drive your rod to a show….unfortunately I’m not as brave either
But I’ll be there in my DD

I'm old and stupid too, just can't afford a car with no windows. Hah, if it's chuckin' it down, I'll stay home. Ran through the rain last year. That was enough fun for me.

 

Rain and a high temp of 50 degrees…

We will see some of you next weekend at the Lincoln Speedway.

 

Plan on attending that too.

We'll be heading out early Saturday - here's hoping we get across the Bay Bridge this time! With the rainy forecast at least it saved me the trouble of having the clean the '39 - I just put on a fresh coat of Rain-X on the windshield and she's good to go. Looking forward to the show!

Hope to be there. I was going to have the drag coupe on display at Posies rod and custom shop on this Saturday will not happen they are calling for rain, rain and more rain . This weather is really starting to piss me PISS ME OFF!

 

Just heard on local news (6 pm, May 5) that could be Bay Bridge traffic delays due to high winds. Not sure what kind of delays, but they're saying "one way traffic each span". Maybe only using newer, 3-lane side? Good luck you guys. Drive safe.

No problem crossing the bridge this afternoon. Traffic moving steadily at the limit.
Despite the weather forecast, I gave the rod a quick wash tonight, so it will be clean for the morning cruise in the rain.
