Event Coverage Jalopyrama #17 May 7, 2022

I had forgotten about the fiasco on the Bay Bridge. I live on the eastern shore side and didn't have to deal with it...

 

We made it to the show last year. Lots of great cars. Hopefully no rain this year.

I tried to go last year ,but couldn.t get across the Bay bridge. I've been many times in 3 different locations over the years. It's a pleasure to go to a show that doesn,t have a bunch of muscle cars or billet laden 20" wheeled trash. This is one of the best shows on the east coast

 

Any info on the Friday cruise ride?

 

Well, I'll be driving my avatar. I've been invited to the indoor display.

The current plan is to vacation for a few days afterwards, then hit the EMMR Reunion the following weekend on the way home.

Realistically, what time should we be in line to get a spot in the lot?

 

The lot is pretty good-sized. Last time cars were arriving mid-morning and still found spots.

 

Hoping for much better weather than last year.

last time it was cold pouring rain and the lot was probably 1/3 full. If the weather cooperates, I plan to get there around 9...

I get home from vacation Saturday and leave Wednesday for Jalopyrama.
I hope to see many HAMB friends there.
My avatar will be displayed in the very center of the ice arena. I hope it doesn't need too much cleanup when I get there.

@Scooterville , looks like I will have an empty seat on Friday. After two days riding to get to Easton, my wife is happy to have an excuse to have some alone time at our hotel.

Sorry to say it looks like rain again. Doesn't matter, I'm coming down ... with a lot of towels!

Rain forecast up by me (175 miles north east of Easton) is still saying 90% chance of rain.
