  1. Visited my old work place today with a few students.

  3. One of my students had a crazy look on his face when asked to help push a Rolls Royce.
He was afraid to touch it.

That is so cool. Your students are lucky to have you exposing them like you do. Great job

Impressed they let a group of people walk right up to that Bugatti, they must have a great deal of respect for you to afford that level of trust with your students.

  6. When we walked in the shop, the Chetah was fired up. Students couldn’t believe something sounded like that.

  8. I worked there 14 years. We went through a lot together. Almost family like.
I asked permission before posting pics.
They are a collision shop but also does resto work and high end storage for collectors.
    The Bugatti is unrestored.
    I wouldn’t change a thing

  9. I wasn’t able to take a pic but they had a naked fresh re-bodied Porsche Speedster.
    Workmanship was outstanding

  11. Thanks. I do what I can.
They got to meet a former student that works there. Plus a tech I trained before I started teaching.
Maybe they’ll listen a little better now.
We’re going to an Indy event Friday.

  14. Neat custom here. original ride, custom mods. Some updates under the hood. Still has the dual quad early Hemi.

  15. The shop was much smaller when I worked there. They outgrew the location. Owner bought a closed Sam’s building. Employees used 3 wheel bikes to get around. Place is massive.

Facel Vega..Delage and Bugatti in the same place...nice. I had a chance about 15 years ago or so to buy a Facel Vega HK 500 project. I thought..nah..it needs to much work. Big mistake.

What mods were done to the Facel Vega?

  18. Updates under the hood. Still carbed.
The body mods are mostly super smooth body work and custom tail lights. They were flush fit and cleared with the body. The interior still has a vintage vibe but looks like a more modern material was used.
I wish I had taken more pics but honestly I didn’t think they would want me to. I texted the manager before posting. If I go back soon, probably will, I’ll get better pics

I'd love to hear audio of the Bugatti running. Never seen one in real life.

And don’t forget the Ferraris, Lambos, Bentleys, Vettes, Cobra, AMGs, and a few others I can’t spell.
And a Hemi mopar with a documented less than 100 miles on the odometer.

  27. Just a few phone pics.
I was in a little shock myself. My old boss has stepped up his game. I never expected to see a Chetah, Delahaye, Delage, and a Bugatti today.

  28. This was a first for me to see a Chetah in person. And to hear it. Words can’t describe the sound

If this can't get their attention nothing can. These young men are very fortunate to have a mentor with your level of experience and a background that can inspire them to do great things.
