A reworking of a photo that was posted earlier today by Loudbang.
Art? No, more of a graphics arts look. A little editing can bring life
    back to a photo.

Compiling a collection of our car show T-shirts and artwork for the 50 anniversary of our club, Triple Cities Street Rods (Binghamton NY).
I've been a member for 48 of those 50 years and have done the T-Shirt artwork for our car show for all those years:eek:...here's a few more...

Pacific Body Shop from San Pedro, CA (Goodyear and Serpa)

    Hello,

The modified roadster of the Pacific Body Shop from San Pedro, CA had what are known as the scalloped flames. The pattern is a straight scallop design with the tiny claws showing some detail. As much fun as it was to draw this roadster with its intricate flames, it took a while. Another name for this style could be called the “fat flames.”

The Hill Acala Red roadster vs. Pacific Body Shop from San Pedro, CA (Goodyear and Serpa)

The owners, Fran Goodyear and Al Serpa with the integral part of the team, Leo Sanders, put together this roadster for So Cal competition.

Not being a hot rod car flame painter, this drawing, for me, was the most intense. The flames were different. The little curves and claws did not look right until several tries at each curved point. It took a long time to get it right. "Curleycue ... Fireballs" what a description...

For those that must have the hot rod roadster on a slight rake with big and little tires, here is the rake version.

  20. Last evening, my friend Mark sent me a picture of a drawing his 13 year old daughter, Elizabeth, drew. She used a magazine photo for reference and hand drew it. She and her sister are currently building a T-bucket and helping dad restore a '61 T'bird!

OK now that just pisses me off. I can’t even draw that well as an adult! Very impressive.

...This is a free hand sketch done by me in Autodesk Sketchbook a free App of which I have no affiliation that actually is a pretty powerful drawing program with numerous capabilities...

Drawing digitally with a phone pen on a phone is certainly not exactly the same as drawing on paper with real pencils but fun none the less...

    Happy Friday Hambers...;)
