The scoop, hands down. Oops, forgot this is a 'restoration" forum. Better stick with stock or there'll be hell to pay. Those hose clamps don't look stock either.
Process of elimination. Was that scoop first produced after 1965? Probably. Then probably not the scoop. Either the air cleaner or something that was around no later than '65. But that's only if you wanna hang around at this end of the playground.
Since your using an AFaB with word Edelbrock on it which needs to be hidden, I see only one choice. It doesn’t look like your using any engine vacuum for your wipers if I’m seeing it right. The fuel pump top diaphragm is a helper for the engine vacuum.
Well the cats out of the bag...lol, .....I also bought a disc brake kit with power brake booster, a power steering kit, Aerostar coils with short shocks, larger front and rear sway bars, new wheels and tires, a set of Classic Industries gauges and a custom built steering wheel. I thought this was the Hot Rod part of this site...lol. I'm starting to think maybe I should have bought a car that was already built up like I want it to be... The future hold's a 347 stroker with an overdrive trans. If anyone wants to trade a hot rod for an all original right down to the new reproduction upholstery 1956 Victoria no post with automatic and thru bumper exhaust let me know before I get started on this.
Knock it in the head man. Go Man Go!!! I like the look of the scoop from the front but not the side. Stock don't do much for me.
Yeah the big ole stock air cleaner isn't working for me, almost hate to desecrate this beauty, she's super clean and everything works, even all the gauges, but I'm trying to relive my youth...lol We didn't have a lot of money growing up and all the other kids had all the cool cars. Now it's my turn.

Kind of limited choice, the stock is not that attractive but the other one is wrong on so many levels. Something along the lines of the Tbird unit would be the best of both worlds.
I’m not a huge fan of either but if I had to choose it would be the scoop . What about one of these I’ve always liked the poostang duel snorkel cleaner as well .
Stock, on balance. The scoop isn't actually on my Pet Hate List, but it's very close to a fake injector hat on an unblown, carbed engine, which is very much on my Pet Hate List.
