I was looking at a post here and searched the OPs profile page and noticed his Galaxie was two years older than him!
I tend to like the cars, that I couldn’t have when I was young and broke! So I go for the Fifties and Sixties cars! So I am older than my avatar by 14 years!
But just wondered how many HAMBers cars are older than they are?

I have a truck that's about a year and a half older than me, and a car that's several months younger than me.

Sorry but any vehicle I’m older than is off topic but I am 1 year older than my oldest running classic. Current build has me by 37 years though.

  9. All my old cars are older than me. I have had very few cars younger than I am since I was born the last year of the muscle car.

  15. I'm a WWII baby, '43 vintage.
My truck is a Baby Boomer @1950.

I always check out who's driving the old iron and muscle cars I spot on the street. A surprising number of them are 25 or 30 years younger than the vehicle. .......Makes me shake my head sometimes.

  16. I am 28 years younger than my 53 Chevrolet, and 51 years younger than my Model A (1930) Tudor.

My '42 Ford is two years older than I am. My Model T is 96 years old. The oldest parts on My A-V8 are 93 years old. I think I feel younger now.

I cannot say exactly for myself because I'm OT.

    So, by that logic, no.

But I am trying to continue the hobby.

Here is some math for ya. I was born in 69. It took me 6 months after my 16th birthday to find my 69 Chevy. It came off the assembly line 2nd week after I was born. I tell people it is the first car I ever bought. People ask if I bought it new? Then there the 33 project I`m turning into a 34.
