  1. That's the price you pay to be cool. HAHA! Glad to see you're running Olds power.

Thanks Dago, I've got good help! This is a new venture for me. I've built tube chassis cars, back-half/ pro-street cars. A few stock style cars and trucks. Never a old school build. Learning alot of what they had back in the day. After all I was just a kid when these cars was racing.

Your pics of the rosette welds help show how to do them.

Another mock up pic. For a low end luxury ride she's starting to look the part of a Hot- Rod! IMG_20220101_133244258.jpg IMG_20220101_133254528.jpg

No, I can run it in patina, but that's not me. I've always leaned towards shiny!

  21. I understand wanting to paint it, in case you don’t, lots of us will like it anyway. Keep up the good work, it looks great.

Thanks, we've been working on this car for a year now. 1 day a week is all the 3 of us can meet up. Usually on a Saturday. Then it's only for 3-5 hours. I'm happy with the progress that's been made.
There will definitely be more to come!!

  24. Patina would be super sick, but SEGA is all about keeping the cars the same. These guys have more into their paintjobs, than I do total into my whole coupe, and my fiances tudor!

Great paint jobs on your race car is pretty darn traditional.

With the SEGA, you'll see cars with top end paint jobs all the way down to just pulled it out of the woods! All of them impressive in their own way!
