All I can say is wow! Great shop, workmanship and people. I met Roy a few years back at the LA Roadster show. What a gentleman. Here are a few photos. Sorry for the photos out of order , doing this on my phone with big fingers! 968F8A1B-89E9-447C-AC11-7272FC6FE185.jpeg D5F4B348-020D-4791-8D48-7658B5C6D843.jpeg 55BE26BB-1207-4331-B880-557C3C2542FE.jpeg

  7. Roy is good people. Stopped by there a few years ago and told him that my dad took part in driving the B&M Brizio roadster road tour by driving it on a leg of the journey in the Carolinas. He stopped what he was doing and took me next door to his private building to see the car and let me look around.

  9. I hope to visit him next year. My son lives nearby(compared to here) but will be transferred to another site, another state. We'd like to visit my son and daughter-in-lay in CA, before they move. Haven't been able to last few years due to Covid restrictions at border. Want to take in some of the Bay area points of interest-hot rod style.

LOL...Ya learn something new every day.;)
I too always thought that Andy Brizio was responsible for Bumpers By Briz...after all, he WAS the "rodfather"...and had his fingers in a lot of pies.

Is his shop still in South San Francisco? I lived nearby for a couple of years in the early 70's and used ride my Norton by to see what the latest projects were.

  22. That was Mark Brizlawn out of Washington, not Roy or Andy Brizio. My dad sold Mark a car once.

  23. No, my roadster is all I need. And a five window o_O

  24. Yes, on Railroad Ave.

I always make a point of popping into Brizio's for a look around and say hello to Dave C, whenever I'm over in NorCal from UK visiting my old friend ('A32Flathead' on here)
Must have visited there about 8 or 9 times now between 2004 and 2017.
That 3w looks an amazing find

  29. Gotelli's is in San Bruno now, they lost their lease of the cool original old building that they occupied since the 60's a few years ago.
