Anybody have a good shot of the nice dark colored T bucket that appeared in HRM or PHR in the 60s that was powered by a Pontiac mill with factory Rochester fuel injection?

I fell in love with the T when was younger, nowadays I lean more toward the roadster. Still love the buckets though.

I like this one, LB, both car and photo, but I also appreciate the good view
of what a real chrome wheel with a baby moon cap look like as opposed to
the smoothies many guys are running. Maybe it's just me but I really dig
the old look. The smoothies turn me off.

I guess I am a little late to the party, as my car is titled as a 1966 "Homebuilt" (Minnesota title), although most of the work was done in '63-'65. I drove it for a couple of years, but quit because the frame was compromised (2X2 1/8" wall tubing just didn't cut it). The next year, over the winter, someone broke into the barn it was stored in and totally stripped it. I have been moving parts around from place to place for the last forty-some year, and a few years ago, decided to put it back together again. I needed a new frame (which I got from Speedway Motors to retain the original registration) and I too, think the main problem with these cars is the absolutely insurmountable problem with ergonomics. This time, I'm rebuilding it as a touring, albeit still only a two seater. The seats will be pushed back and the steering installed with a reasonable rake that there will be only room in back for the gas tank, battery and a luggage platform. I am now worried about wind buffeting (wind wings) and an odd looking driving position, but that'll be easier to deal with if I can find someplace to put my legs.

Here's the last picture of it (it is further along now), and I really plan on hitting it when I get back to Minnesota next spring.

My kegger from way back. The car was a death trap, but it was sure a lot of fun!

where did you source the touring body? Does it fit a standard speedway T bucket frame?

Those are some great looking wheels! Anyone know what they're from? Rims of the wheels look like aluminum Akront (or something like that?) motorcycle rims.
