I can definitely do that. I totally forgot I had some stickers in the glove box of the truck. I should have given some of those to you as well.
Shiny turd... I decided on Wednesday before The start of the show to go in my banger Vicky...it's brown too I was registered last year and family emergency. I went to registration, asking on the outside chance and the fellow behind me in line says 'my son is registered but not coming, he can have his place' Just like that, I got a new dad....
Whats not to love about this country when it comes to classic cars and rods and the events they hold. Here in my home town Reno Nevada, we have Hot August Nights since 1986 and it draws 800,000 people from all over the world. Six thousand car entries. It is quite a cluster F**** . The five day run has everything under the sun. It generates $100 million to the Reno Sparks community. Ive been part of it since its start as a volunteer/ member and don't have to drive far from home to participate, maybe four miles. Our countries political virus shut it down in 2020. It was a huge hit not having this world wide loved event. Owners cars are shipped here from as far as Australia, Iceland, Hawaii and more. I would love to attend some of these events where you guys have been, just to see some other country sides. Maybe in a second life.
And you did meet some serious hoodlums....... even had dinner with a few. great pic of your A and Mr. Buttshaw's '46, that's a neat sedan.
Guys, fantastic video and pics! Thanks for sharing. Some of the nicest cars I've ever seen that actually hit pavement. Might have to take a trip to OK next year to see kin and cars.
Thanks for posting the '46 with your Vicky Larry, I'm honored! Really enjoyed our conversation, see ya next year!
Leave it to @pgan to drive threw snow in the way home! Been loving the video clips his son has been sharing in their drive home
X2 and an additional secret...the night before and the morning of the reliability run the young women that 'man' the registration are walking around handing out maps of the route. This way there is no need to have to follow the pack...that doesn't know where they are going either.... Rick, I got lucky parking next to you, your car has lots of 'draw' and for understandable reasons...it is tastefully done in every aspect Glad to make the connection and look forward to our next meeting
Cracking video..... Towards the end of it starting at 25m.04s there is the sweetest roadster reversing out with chrome steels, and some sort of domed hub caps.....looks great, and would love to see some photos of it.....anyone know what those hub caps are fitted to it??
Thanks for that, and yes they do look like 46 Merc caps now a clear photo can be seen. That really is a sweet looking roadster
