hrp, lost a great friend and car guy last year. They had a house fire and he didn't make it out. its been a trying year. he was " RamRod36" here on the HAMB.

 

I didn’t see any mention of Don_Wow. His name was Jerry. If you were an Oldsmobile guy, he was a wonderful source of knowledge. He passed way too young.

I actually gave him a High Fives in Hotrod Spirit last year regarding his Scalloped Pickup not the latter......was his passing shared in a Memorial Thread here?

I always cringe when I get the notification that someone posted to this thread.

Breeder was really active on here years ago and seemed like a real solid dude. I just saw on his profile that he was only 50. I'm pretty sure he has young kids, too. Man... I hope that they're doing as well as they can be under these awful circumstances. Will be a tough holiday season

 

Same here. Some of the first threads I remember following were the Rust Revival shenanigans, and the Thelma and Louise road trips.
I remember thinking;
"I gotta make it down to that show, and drink a beer with this crazy bastard! He's hilarious!"

 

I’m glad you noted Dave Carnine’s contribution to the HAMB. His stories were priceless.
Back when he first posted them,I would print his pages at work and bring them home to read in the evenings.
