Been having cooling issues with the merc change the thermostat and
Flushed the radiator I’ll need too get a new electric fan
Iron brushed the radiator it’s from a now defunct company outside of Chicago

 

Took the old electric fan out

 

New fan in and it works

 

Al Glickmans Merc on top toward the end of pg 1, built in the early 50's and was a little books or Hot Rod cover car.

 

@Austinrod really liked the pairing with the Hardtop they truly connect on so many levels...

The Hopup cover, yours should be on a cover too, its a perfect mild custom from the 50's

 

I know it’s personal choice but I thought the air cleaner made the engine compartment. I gutted a 56 Ford with the circle on the front to take a paper style air filter and hid the modern carb.
Your Merc was a great find and I’m sure you will be fixing all the stuff that bugs you…

So are you gonna build your Merc like this one. You do know why they placed the golf bags beside the car don`t you ? On both sides even. So is is it Beckman or Glickman ?

No I'm not building my Merc like this one. Mine is this one. I gave to my son a couple of years ago.
