Looking forward to an update. I did use the headlight mounts you sent me. Thanks.
I welded a portion of them onto my F1 shock mounts.

He's been locked in place polishing all kinds of stuff for plating. I think he underestimated just how much time it's going to take.
    Lol.

I haven’t been on here for a long time... the project has been dormant for awhile... but, I noticed that I have a considerable amount of updates that aren’t posted

Larry mentioned the polishing... here are a few before plater shots... still wrapped in paper & I haven’t even looked at then... dine in Dull Watts Nickel and will be hand polished

This project has been stalled for a long time... life has gotten in the way both for Carey and myself... hopefully, I’ll be starting back on it soon... all the fab work is done but the paint, wiring, fuel & brake lines still need to be done... polishing & dull Watts nickel work is on going

It would be nice to see this project finished however letting go of a long term owned car like your 33 would be difficult I’m thinking.

I can relate to the high cost of quality show chrome plating as I pretty much broke the bank with my plating for my RPU and I definitely didn’t go nuts with it.

Good luck and keep us updated if you move ahead.

Looking good, don’t make everything so perfect smooth and shiny that you’re afraid to drive it or even touch it without white gloves on ;)

Thyme is a race car that a plater is using to advertise his brightwork… the remainder of the car will have a piss coat of primer and paint exposing every hammer mark & weld… race car number driver “Bugs” and Lightning Bolt style scallops to tie in with the Electra Plate Special & Thunderbird mill 2DC3FF50-67B9-402A-A902-FA464D9F4750.jpeg
